Todoist: the Geekiest Productivity Tool Ever
By Ann Smarty
Have you ever thought how much richer our life has become due to the Internet – and no, I don’t mean the money. Life has become richer in communications, connections, events, tasks we do at a time.
With that flood of information, it is easy to get lost and become less productive, which is why productivity tools are so important for those working online.
Today I am sharing a cool free productivity tool that will make your life much more organized: ToDoist. Let’s take a short feature overview:
Create Projects
Create projects for better sorting and organizing. Each project is assigned a different color to visualize your to-do lists.

Task options:
- Set (4-level) priority;
- Move to history (when done)
- See all tasks for today / this week or by priority.
Note: There’s very useful syntax you may want to learn; for example to set the date you just need to give a day (number) and the date will be automatically set to the current month and year

FireFox Sidebar (the best feature!)
What I really love about the service is its FireFox sidebar which allows quickly and easily manage your to-do list. Just install it and use a shortcut Alt+Q to toggle it:
More options:
- Gmail integration: add your messages to the to-d- list with one click;
- Create labels cross referencing all your projects.
