Welcome to March
March is here and I trust that you have recovered from your Leap Day frivolities. You did celebrate our once-every-four-years holiday, didn’t you?
Anthony Kirlew has a new theme for his OldSchoolSEO site and it is a good one. Of course, I use the same Performancing theme elsewhere, so I’m partial to the layout.
Speaking of layouts, I’m still trying to get used to the new LinkedIn look. The site looks great, but some of the features have been moved around. This past week I had contact with several members including Norene Wiesen, Vanessa Deakin, and Michelle Vranizen Rafter through the site’s Answers feature.
It is good to see that the Writers Cafe at Grow Your Writing Business has reopened. Yvonne Russell is back and this time I plan on stopping by on a regular basis.
Have a nice weekend. I’ll be back in next week with some fresh freelance writing tips.

Hi Matt
Thanks for visiting the Writers Cafe and for helping to spread the world. I look forward to your future visits.

Hey – who moved my cheese? Ha ha.. I too am rtrying to get used to the new LinkedIn look and feel, just as I was getting really comfortable with it. Oh well, ‘change is as good as a holiday’ I hear.
Take care

Yvonne: Welcome back! I am looking forward to checking out the cafe and on a more consistent basis.
Vanessa: That is a good analogy — getting used to change, especially when we are comfortable with the old order. Speaking of change, MyBlogLog redid their interface, but it looks awful. Lousy looking typefaces!
