Blog Carnival

For those of you who are writers and are maintaining your own blogs, Anne Wayman of The Golden Pencil fame is starting up a “blog carnival” to help writers promote their sites and themselves.

A blog carnival essentially permits blog owners to have links pointed to their sites through the submission of articles, links, etc. In short, if you participate, you stand to get additional publicity for free and receive some decent backlinks to your site. You’ll be helping your fellow writers as well, so it isn’t completely self serving.
