Summer Livin’

I see it coming. Summer is unofficially here and I’m already thinking of goofing off here and there. Just last week, my wife, boys, and I headed down to Carolina Beach just south of Wilmington, NC and spent a couple of nights at a hotel. Three days in the pool was all our boys needed and being away from a computer for that brief period of time was just great for me.

3 decades after graduating from high school, summer’s siren call still blares strong. Yet, I am sure there will be a project or 2 that will require I put my fingers to the keyboard and work 10-12 hours a day for short spurts. I embrace those times, but when they are done I’ll head off with the family to the next outdoor watery adventure.

Make sure that you catch some breaks yourself this summer too.
