Google’s Free Web Pages

I missed out on the release, but Google rolled out a new service yesterday offering subscribers 100mb worth of web space for free.

Introducing Google Page Creator

Dubbed, Google Page Creator, the feature allows subscribers to create and manage a web site without knowing HTML. Your URL will be yournamehere.googlepages.com, so you are actually piggybacking on Google’s service to launch your site.

Sounds like a good idea for the novice or anyone else needing quick, easy, and FREE online access. Due to heavy demand, Google has temporarily stopped accepting subscribers, but that is expected to change shortly. You can go to their Google Page Creator link to be put on a waiting list. Google will send an email to you when things get moving again.

Catching Up!

I hate February. The month is too short, yet the bills remain the same. Car notes and medical payments are not prorated to reflect a month two days too short.

At the same time, I find myself working extra hard just to bring in money…one eye on my work, the other eye on the calendar.

So, is there anything good about February? Yes, and we call it Springtime here in the northern hemisphere, although here in the Raleigh, NC area winter has been nothing more than a couple of days of on/off snow showers. No measurable precipitation and already many trees are budding, the forsythia have been out for weeks, and the daffodils are up.

Okay, I’ll ease up on my February criticism.
